God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus died on the cross for love for us so that we may be saved.

To pray is simply to speak to God: Lord, I thank you for your love and that Jesus came into the world to die for me. I acknowledge that I have directed my own life so far, and so I have sinned against you. I want now to put my trust in you, to receive you in my life and to follow you Jesus. Thank you for forgiving my sins. Make me the person you want me to be. I thank you for responding to my prayer and being in my life now.
